I read through the tutorial and thought, "oh I have one of those boxes"... ( it was in the back of the drawer of dies but, I finally found it.) this is hat number 2 as the first one I used a really cool black and cream lacy paper. but, it was impossible to see the score lines that the die had made and it kept wanting to fold on the stitching lines and it would not line up for nothing. I finally grabbed a slightly less heavy but still heavy-ish printed paper for this to try it one more time.
I decided the doily was too fragile for the base and added one more larger circle of double sided paper to be the bottom.
drew a line in the button holes as my eyes would not focus enough to poke the thread through it. ( new bifocals have shipped and are on their way to me hahahaha) anyways, thanks for this challenge ladies, I never in a million years would have thought to do this. & tfl.
